There was a dog in a small, forgotten street at the edge of the city.

Every morning, he would sit in the exact same spot — right next to an old wooden door that no longer opened. Rain, snow, or burning sun… he never moved far from it. People passed by him every day. Some felt sorry, some ignored him, and a few threw him scraps of food.

But no one understood why he stayed.

Until one old man stopped and looked closely into his eyes.
